Type 5/6 hazmat suit, double nitrile gloves, overshoes, goggles, respiratory equipment masks and filters, safety boots.

Create an exclusion Zone
We will seal the room or area-this is carried out with plastic sheeting, creating a seal on the door to stop mould spores from becoming airborne and spreading.

Ventilate the area.
Ventilate the area you are cleaning-We can bring in a dehumidifier and or an air purifier. Open windows and let in fresh air.

Remove any
contaminated items
We carefully bag up any items in biohazard waste bags. We then remove the biohazard waste from the area. Mould cleaning may include the removal of furniture, carpets, and even flooring.

Remove mould spores.
We will scrub the mold with a hard brush to penetrate spores and get to the roots. This step should be done with caution to avoid breathing in the mold spores, as they can become airborne. Wear a face-fit mask throughout the process to protect yourself. The brushing action will penetrate the surface area and dislodge the mold roots..

Apply mould killer
We apply a commercial mould killer to the affected area. The mold killer is designed to deeply penetrate the surface and interact with the mould roots. As the mould killer kills the living organism that is mould the roots should not reappear.

Wait 30 mins
We then wait 30 minutes for the mold killer to work its magic. The mold killer should have penetrated to the roots. Mold penetrates deep into the affected area and may need deeper cleaning. If mold reappears after 30 minutes, we repeat step 4.

Disinfect the area.
We then apply disinfectant to the area.

Seal the area
We then seal the area using mould sealant.
